I wanted to colour so badly!
And there was this old line art…
I really enjoy cell colouring using this medium.

some shades are completely wrong. I so wish to have real life undo button. And to have cash to buy some refills.
I’m so happy! The ‘editor’ (an acquaintance/friend who is fine tuning this story for me) finally mailed back to me. We discussed how we compiling the intro, and it’s looking good!!! I’ve got the script, but still need to make the first draft. Hopefully, this weekend wouldn’t be so busy, so I can finally put something on paper!
I decided to joint NaNoMangO this year to upgrade my rusty manga drawing skills (if I had one in the first place). My last doujinshi/manga dated 2 years (?) ago. I will go for 30 penciled pages of Imagination, the script is done for a major part. I wanted to do it for A little fairytale, but the scripting process is really taking its time. I don’t I’ll make it by June. Imagination it is! If things need to be change after the penciling, so be it. Only what matters is putting the story on paper. I’m so exited and feel that this year is a good year for doujinshi and illustrations. =D
Last night Appeltjegroen was livestreaming and I joint her. Drawing together is no doubt more fun. I was looking in my old folder with The Gift stuff and found a semi-realism illustration of Ryo, was drawn four years ago (!). Semi realism back wasn’t my piece of cake, no matter how hard I tried. Today I retouch it, because something still was bugging me. It is still not perfect and the background need to be separated. No references were used, so please don’t mind the anatomy. I’ll got back to it later, but for now it’s good enough.

The Doujin page is updated with the project where I’m working. I still get over my heart to kill The Gift along with the characters and we are not even talking about a whole bunch of already sketch out manga pages. So, it’s now on hiatus.
It took awhile, but I am done with the character designs of the story. The looks anyways =D
[personal note: don't draw in a shaky train -> will cause nausea]
After many sleepless nights, I finally have a helping hand to continue my first solo debut: A Little Fairytale. I am aiming it on the end of THIS year. You will see more entries about this project in the future.
The story is about an young model/actor who is slowly discovering a lost memory. That’s in a nutshell. It’s sounds like a bad drama, right? I believe in no matter how cliche or how overdone a theme is, if you can take the story a different turn, you can still make it enjoyable to read. I am confident storytelling skills. With almost 50 pages, the pocket is ready for one fourth.
